help BoxPN FAQ
Which VPN protocols does BoxPN support?
BoxPN supports industry-standard OpenVPN, and its older setup guides also covered legacy protocols like L2TP and PPTP. OpenVPN remains the recommended option since PPTP is considered insecure today.
Does BoxPN work with Netflix and other streaming services?
BoxPN advertises access to geo-restricted content through its multi-country server network, but streaming compatibility changes frequently as platforms block VPN IPs. It's best to test on a short plan before committing, since results vary by server and region.
Does BoxPN keep logs of my activity?
BoxPN has marketed itself as privacy-focused and states it does not log browsing activity, which is the standard claim among consumer VPNs. Independent verification of these claims has been limited, so treat the no-logs policy as a stated policy rather than an audited guarantee.
Why is BoxPN so cheap on sites like StackSocial?
BoxPN became widely known through heavily discounted multi-year and lifetime subscription deals promoted on deal sites like StackSocial. Those promotions offered very low effective monthly prices, though lifetime deals always carry the risk that the service changes terms or shuts down.
