Flip & Go

description Flip & Go Overview

Flip & Go is an online poker tournament format associated with GGPoker. In its opening Flip stage, players are placed into automatic all-in hands so that a large part of the field is eliminated quickly; survivors then enter the Go stage, where the tournament proceeds with ordinary poker decisions. The format is intended for players who want a fast route through the early tournament stages while accepting that conventional preflop strategy is largely replaced by the all-in format.

help Flip & Go FAQ

What happens in the Flip stage of GGPoker Flip & Go?

Players are placed into automatic all-in hands during the opening Flip stage. This quickly removes much of the field before the surviving players enter the regular tournament stage.

What is the Go stage in Flip & Go?

The Go stage is the normal poker tournament portion after the automatic all-in eliminations. Surviving players then compete using ordinary tournament decisions rather than the opening forced flips.

Why does Flip & Go eliminate players so quickly?

The format uses automatic all-in hands at the start, so players do not make normal pre-flop decisions in that stage. The result is a fast reduction in the field before standard play begins.

Which poker platform is associated with Flip & Go?

Flip & Go is associated with GGPoker. It is an online tournament format rather than a traditional live casino poker variant.
