The service was aimed at general privacy and location-related use, including users seeking to reach content restricted by geography. It is listed as discontinued.

help WeVPN FAQ

Is WeVPN still in business?

No. WeVPN announced it was discontinuing service in 2023, and subscribers were left to migrate to other providers. If you see WeVPN subscriptions for sale today, they are not backed by an active service.

WeVPN was known for aggressive low pricing combined with extras like WeBLOCK, its built-in ad, tracker, and malware blocking feature. It also offered standard consumer features such as split tunneling and kill-switch protection across its apps.

Did WeVPN offer a refund or free trial before it shut down?

WeVPN advertised a money-back guarantee of around 30 days, letting new users test the service risk-free. After the 2023 shutdown, refunds were handled through a wind-down process and were not guaranteed for all prepaid periods.
