Star Wars: The Old Republic

Very Good
Overview
If you want to satisfy your inner Sith, this is the best way to do that for free. Subscriptions are on hand for more in-game potential and end-game content, but in true best free games fashion, all the story missions are still accessible for free. Experience the Star Wars universe from different sets of eyes, like the hyper-professional Imperial Agent and Bounty Hunter. If you want to go with the dull option and just have a generic Jedi Knight, though – you can totally do that as well.

Fun - Fun - Fun!
Highly recommended.
However, there are some elements in this game that are just uneccessrily difficult for the sake of achievement. Obiviously meant for people with too much free time. Apart from that....this is a must for video gamers.
SWTOR is incredibly fun. Never a dull moment. All of the paths you can take are voiced and your decisions actually effect the story you play through. The only gripe is that it favors subscribers heavily but even then the game is able to be completed w/out subscription. 9 years old and the game still receives content updates. Other companies should take note.
Its a good game, it really is. The only thing that it could have used was ship and equipment custimization. I love unique, personalized equipment and ships, and for an MMO that wouldn't be impossible, just difficult. Another thing, I play on the Sith Empire, and while some scenarios make you really FEEL like a Sith, others make you feel below one. For example, no matter if you're a Sith Lord, or a Darth, everyone in Korriban treats you as an acolyte. It sucks. But I like the game.
The much vaunted story pillar that was the focal point of the marketing for the game when it came out, soon wears thin. It's not that the stories are terrible or anything most are a bit mundane and hackneyed but some are really quite good. It's the fact that they really only take up a tiny tiny amount of what you will be doing each time you try a new class. The other 98% or so you will be doing the exact same quests you did on every other light or dark side character you made, which makes starting new classes more of a grinding chore than a new adventure.
I just started playing since I have all the time in the world during quarantine. I was afraid that the game was too old, like the graphics and the combat style would be bland.
But, it’s completely the opposite. Sure the graphics aren’t great, but I’d honestly compare them to Fortnite, to be honest. The storyline for each class is wonderful. The customization is a great and unique way to make your own story in the Star Wars universe.
This game was something I stumbled upon by accident. Of course as a Star Wars fan I had to check it out. I started playing and it is still one of my all-time favourite games! Ulike most games where you can choose to be 'good' or 'evil' you can actually choose just how evil your character is by how you speak and act. The gameplay is also very easy to pick up and it is genuinely thrilling to get new items and equipment.
If you love Star Wars, and you love gaming, you will love this game. Yes, it is structured as an MMO, but if you want to primarily play solo, you can..and not miss out on anything. There will be people telling you that they dumbed down the game. But those are the 1% that push the edge of the game, while the other 99% struggle to even stay relevant in a game catered to hard core raiders or PVPers. Trust me, in SWTOR, whether you love RP, PVP or PVE solo or grouped, you will be able to gain the highest level of end game gear...which is why I love this game so much.
Good story-based RPG MMO that you can play through solo, or with groups. There are literally hundreds of hours' worth of adventures, quests, and special events that you can play through in it. In most areas, the game scales to your level appropriately so it makes it possible to do a lot of missions and experience many places without worrying about being overpowered.
