Stiga New Evolution Ball (16mm)

The listing calls it a table-tennis ball but labels it 16mm, while standard full-size table-tennis balls are about 40mm or 40+ plastic balls. Confirm what the 16mm measurement refers to before using it in sanctioned play.

Its described surface is intended to increase grip and control, which can help with spin generation and shot placement. The product summary positions it for serious competitors, but a ball cannot replace correct technique or a suitable racket.

The description presents it as an official-style ball for serious play, but the 16mm label needs clarification first. For tournament practice, verify the diameter, material, and approval mark against the event's rules.

A consistent surface affects how the ball grips the racket and responds to spin. Stiga's New Evolution description emphasizes that grip-and-control behavior, which is more specific than simply calling it a practice ball.
