OWC TerraDisk 4 Bay Thunderbolt 3

Yes, with four bays you can run RAID 5, which survives a single drive failure while keeping most of your total capacity, or choose RAID 0/1/10 depending on your speed-versus-safety needs. For creative professionals with irreplaceable footage, RAID 5 is the typical configuration.

OWC typically sells its multi-bay enclosures both empty and pre-populated, so you have to check the specific SKU before ordering. Buying it empty lets you load your own drives, while pre-built configurations arrive tested as a set.

Yes. Thunderbolt 3 runs at 40Gb/s and supports up to six devices daisy-chained per port, including displays, so the TerraDisk can sit between your Mac and, say, a Thunderbolt monitor. That matters on machines like MacBooks with limited ports.

OWC, which acquired SoftRAID, commonly pairs its Thunderbolt storage products with SoftRAID for drive management, monitoring, and RAID setup on both Mac and Windows. That gives you far better insight into drive health than a plain disk utility would.
