IP #22, Welcome to Narcotics Anonymous

It is Narcotics Anonymous World Services' Information Pamphlet No. 22, written for someone who has just arrived at NA. Its purpose is to orient newcomers to NA meetings and fellowship life, rather than replace the NA Basic Text. [NA World Services](https://na.org/e-lit/ip-22-welcome-to-narcotics-anonymous/)

No, IP #22 is a short information pamphlet, while the Basic Text is a separate NA publication. NAWS labels this item Welcome to NA and identifies it as literature for newcomers. [NA World Services](https://na.org/e-lit/ip-22-welcome-to-narcotics-anonymous/)

NA World Services provides the complete text on its official website and a downloadable PDF marked View PDF. The page also links to NA's meeting finder, so readers can move from the pamphlet to local meeting information. [Official pamphlet page](https://na.org/e-lit/ip-22-welcome-to-narcotics-anonymous/)

It answers newcomer questions about arriving at NA and what fellowship life is meant to offer, using NA's own meeting context. Because NAWS says local groups are not centrally controlled, meeting details should be checked with the local group or NA meeting search.
