Ruined is a 2009 play by American playwright Lynn Nottage, set in a bar and brothel in the war-torn Democratic Republic of the Congo. Through the experiences of its proprietor, Mama Nadi, and women displaced or abused by conflict, it examines sexual violence, survival, economic dependence, and moral compromise. The play received the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
