Siouxsie Sioux (born Susan Janet Ballion in 1957) is an English singer and the frontwoman of Siouxsie and the Banshees, the band she co-founded in 1976 shortly after appearing at the 100 Club Punk Festival. Across albums such as The Scream (1978), Kaleidoscope (1980), and A Kiss in the Dreamhouse (1982), the band helped shape post-punk and gothic rock through singles including 'Hong Kong Garden,' 'Spellbound,' and 'Cities in Dust.' She also recorded with the Creatures, a side project with Banshees drummer Budgie.
