Detective Conan: Conan vs. Kid - Jet Black Sniper

Kid is Kaitou Kid, the 'phantom thief' mastermind who steals jewels and always sends advance notice, a rival created by Gosho Aoyama alongside Detective Conan itself. In this film his jewel heist at the Takaramachi Jewelry Museum collides with a skilled sniper's plans.

The plot revolves around a complex museum heist at the Takaramachi Jewelry Museum targeting a valuable jewel. While Conan works to expose Kaitou Kid, a skilled sniper adds a deadly third element to the confrontation.

The film draws on Gosho Aoyama's manga universe, where he created both Detective Conan and the phantom thief Kid. Aoyama's Kid also headlines his own source material, making him one of the few characters to bridge the two series.

Conan Edogawa, the shrunken form of high school detective Shinichi Kudo, pursues Kid's heist as his rival and pursuer, a dynamic fans of the franchise know well. The sniper subplot forces their usual cat-and-mouse game into an action-driven showdown.
