description Amiens Cathedral Overview
At Amiens Cathedral in northern France, High Gothic architecture uses height and carefully organized proportions to create a spacious interior. The cathedral suits visitors interested in medieval architecture and religious art, as well as architectural historians examining how stone structures create light-filled space.
