description Far Cry Revolution Overview

Revolution is a massive expansion for Far Cry 5 that adds significant new content, including a new map area, additional weapons, and unique missions. It expands on the existing mechanics of Far Cry 5 while providing fresh challenges. While it isn't a standalone game, it offers substantial value for players who have already completed the base game and want more content within the same setting.

help Far Cry Revolution FAQ

Is Far Cry Revolution an official Far Cry 5 expansion?

Ubisoft's official Far Cry 5 expansions are Hours of Darkness, Lost on Mars, and Dead Living Zombies. I cannot match the title Far Cry Revolution to an official Far Cry 5 expansion, so this catalog entry may be using an incorrect or unofficial name.

What are the real Far Cry 5 DLC packs?

Hours of Darkness sends the player into a Vietnam-war scenario, Lost on Mars uses a science-fiction setting, and Dead Living Zombies is built around zombie-film scenarios. These packs add separate missions and settings to Far Cry 5 rather than a campaign called Revolution.

Is Far Cry Revolution a standalone game?

There is no verified Ubisoft release by that exact title in the Far Cry 5 expansion lineup. Buyers should check the platform listing, publisher, and product code before treating it as official downloadable content.

Could Revolution refer to Far Cry 6 instead?

The word revolution is strongly associated with Far Cry 6, whose story follows Dani Rojas and the guerrilla group Libertad on Yara. Far Cry 6 was released by Ubisoft in 2021, but it is a full game, not a Far Cry 5 expansion named Revolution.
