help Goong S FAQ
Is Goong S a sequel to Princess Hours (Goong)?
No, it is a spin-off with a fresh cast and story rather than a continuation. The original Goong (2006), which starred Yoon Eun-hye and Joo Ji-hoon, is not directly continued here; Goong S builds its own alternate-history royal storyline in the same conceptual world.
Who stars in Goong S?
The lead is K-pop singer Se7en (Choi Dong-woong) in his acting debut, playing a young man unexpectedly drawn into palace life, opposite actress Heo Yi-jae. It aired on the Korean network MBC in 2007.
What is the English title for Goong S?
It is known internationally as Prince Hours. The 'Goong' name (palace) ties it to Princess Hours, while the S marks it as a separate spin-off take on the royal-house premise.
Where can I watch Goong S with English subtitles?
As a 2007 MBC drama, its licensing has shifted over the years; it has historically been carried by Korean-drama streaming services such as Viki, with regional availability varying. Physical and digital releases also exist, so check which platform currently holds rights in your country.
