help Insta360 Ace Pro FAQ
When was the Insta360 Ace Pro released?
The Insta360 Ace Pro was released on November 21, 2023. It launched as an action camera positioned against products such as the GoPro HERO12 Black and DJI Osmo Action 4.
Can the Insta360 Ace Pro record 8K video?
Yes. It can record 8K video at 24 frames per second in a 16:9 mode. It also supports 4K recording at high frame rates, including up to 120 frames per second in supported modes.
Does the Ace Pro use an 8:7 video aspect ratio?
The Ace Pro supports flexible shooting formats, including FreeFrame and a 4:3 capture mode that can be reframed later. The specific 8:7 workflow is more closely associated with some newer action-camera formats, so buyers should check the selected firmware and mode rather than assume every 4K setting is 8:7.
What lens is used on the Insta360 Ace Pro?
The Ace Pro uses a Leica-branded SUMMARIT lens and a large action-camera sensor. Its low-light features include PureVideo processing, while Active HDR is available in supported recording modes.
