help LG UT8000 FAQ
Is the 65-inch LG UT8000 an OLED television?
No. The common 65UT8000AUA model is an LG 65-inch 4K UHD television with webOS 24, not an OLED panel, so the catalog's OLED label is misleading.
Does the LG UT8000 support Dolby Vision IQ?
Published testing for the 2024 UT8000 reports support for HDR10 but not Dolby Vision or HDR10+. Regional model suffixes can differ, so the exact model number should be checked before making a format claim.
Which smart TV system does the LG UT8000 use?
The UT8000 uses webOS 24 and provides access to streaming apps through its smart TV interface. LG also advertises LG Channels with more than 300 free channels, although internet access and some subscriptions are required.
Can the LG UT8000 run PS5 or Xbox Series X games at 4K and 120 Hz?
It is not designed for 4K at 120 Hz: the reviewed UT8000 has a 60 Hz panel, HDMI 2.0 ports, and no variable refresh rate support. It is better suited to basic 4K gaming than to advanced current-generation console features.
