Jessica Alba plays Gina Thorn, the woman Bishop is trying to protect, while Michelle Yeoh plays Mei, an ally connected to his escape. Jason Statham again plays Arthur Bishop, the professional assassin at the center.
How does Mechanic: Resurrection connect to the older Charles Bronson film?
It continues the 2011 Jason Statham version rather than directly continuing the original 1972 film. The two earlier films share the title The Mechanic, while Resurrection follows the newer Arthur Bishop continuity.
