help Sleuth Kings FAQ
How does a Sleuth Kings mystery subscription work?
Sleuth Kings sends a fictional investigation through physical case materials and online correspondence. Players examine the evidence and can communicate with the service's Lead Detective, Sull.
Do Sleuth Kings cases use real police files or fictional evidence?
The service is built around fictional investigations, so the letters, clues, and case documents are part of an entertainment puzzle. The intended activity is evidence analysis and story solving, not participation in a real criminal investigation.
What role does the Lead Detective Sull play in Sleuth Kings?
Sull is the named online contact who corresponds with participants during the case. That email element gives the subscription a continuing investigation format instead of making it only a box of disconnected puzzles.
Is Sleuth Kings played online or with a physical package?
It combines both: participants receive physical evidence and use online correspondence during the investigation. The mix is central to the service's format, unlike a purely digital mystery game.
