help Tottemo! Luckyman FAQ

When did Tottemo! Luckyman originally air?

The anime ran in the mid-1990s on Japanese television, starting around 1994, based on Hiroshi Gamo's gag manga. That places it right in the era of Dragon Ball-style battle parodies it riffs on.

Is there an official English release of Tottemo! Luckyman?

Reportedly the series was never officially licensed or dubbed in English, so fan translations are the only access for most viewers. Physical Japanese media and fan-subbed episodes circulate among retro anime collectors.

How many episodes does Luckyman have?

The TV series ran to roughly 50 episodes across its mid-1990s broadcast. Episode guide databases are the reliable place to confirm exact counts since the show lacks standardized Western documentation.

What is Luckyman a parody of?

It mocks superhero and battle-shonen formulas: its hero wins absurd fights through sheer luck acquired in bizarre ways rather than training arcs. The retro-futuristic comedy tone made it a cult favorite among parody anime fans alongside its era's bigger titles.
