176 Iduna is a main-belt asteroid discovered by German-American astronomer Christian Heinrich Friedrich Peters on 14 October 1877 at Clinton, New York. It is classified as a G-type asteroid and orbits at an average distance of about 3.19 astronomical units, taking roughly 5.7 years to circle the Sun.
