description 7UP Overview

7UP is a clear, carbonated lemon-lime soft drink created by Charles Leiper Grigg and introduced in 1929. Its original name, Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda, referred to lithium citrate, an ingredient later removed from the formula.
