The Aguinaldo Shrine is a national shrine and museum located in Kawit, Cavite, Philippines. It was the ancestral home of Emilio Aguinaldo, the first President of the Philippines, and serves as his burial site. The structure is historically significant as the location where the Declaration of Philippine Independence from Spain was made on June 12, 1898. Maintained by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, the house features a balcony from which the independence was proclaimed and now serves as a museum for the public.
