Alien: Covenant

Alien: Covenant is a direct sequel to Prometheus that leans much harder into the horror elements of the franchise. It follows a colony ship that discovers a mysterious planet, only to find the remnants of the previous expedition and a new, deadly threat. The film is visually impressive and features a dual performance by Michael Fassbender that is truly unsettling. While it struggles to balance the philosophical ambitions of its predecessor with the slasher-style horror of the original, it remains a dark, intense, and visually striking entry in the Alien saga.
