Alphaman

description Alphaman Overview

Alphaman is a post-apocalyptic DOS roguelike created by Jeffrey R. Olson and released in 1995. It uses the traditional roguelike structure of turn-based exploration and combat on a character-based map, with the player progressing through a dangerous setting one move at a time. Its colorful graphics are built from the extended IBM character set, giving the game a text-based visual appearance rather than conventional bitmap artwork.

It is aimed at players interested in early DOS role-playing games and classic roguelikes.
