description Angus Overview

Angus is a 1995 American teen comedy-drama directed by Patrick Read Johnson and adapted from Chris Crutcher's short story. Charlie Talbert plays Angus Bethune, a large, socially isolated high-school student who is targeted by classmates and placed in the public spotlight around a school dance. The film uses his experience with bullying, friendship, family, and self-respect to frame a coming-of-age story.
