Apajune, der Wassermann is a German-language operetta in three acts by Carl Millöcker, first performed at Vienna's Theater an der Wien on 18 December 1880. Its libretto was written by Richard Genée and Camillo Walzel, who used the name F. Zell. Set in Wallachia around 1860, the comic plot involves a wedding, mistaken identities, disguises, and a water-man figure from local legend; the title is commonly translated as Apajune, the Water-Man.
