The attraction originated as 63 Sea World in 1985 and was later renovated and operated under Hanwha's Aqua Planet brand, displaying marine and freshwater animals within the landmark skyscraper complex. It closed permanently in 2024, ending nearly four decades of aquarium operations at the site.
