ATLiens

ATLiens is the 1996 second studio album by the Atlanta-based hip-hop duo Outkast, consisting of rappers André 3000 and Big Boi. The record was largely produced by the duo alongside their frequent collaborators, Organized Noize.

The album features two of Outkast's most iconic tracks, the smooth and atmospheric Elevators (Me & You) and the conscious rap anthem ATLiens. The production shifted heavily away from the G-Funk sounds of their debut toward a darker, space-age aesthetic.

The 1996 album was a massive commercial breakthrough for the duo, debuting at number 2 on the US Billboard 200 chart. It also reached the number one spot on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, solidifying Outkast's national dominance.
