description Bat*21 Overview

Bat*21 is a 1988 American war drama directed by Peter Markle and based on the 1980 book by William C. Anderson. Gene Hackman portrays Lieutenant Colonel Iceal Hambleton, a United States Air Force navigator whose aircraft is shot down over South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Cut off behind enemy lines, Hambleton communicates by radio with Captain Bartholomew Clark, played by Danny Glover, as a rescue operation is organized.
