The Silent Base 601 prioritizes noise reduction over maximum airflow, which can lead to slightly higher temperatures for hot-running GPUs compared to mesh-front cases like the NZXT H5 Flow. The solid front panel and dampening material restrict some intake airflow, so users with very high-end cards like an RTX 4090 may need to add aftermarket fans or accept warmer thermals.
