Bernhard Bijvoet

Dutch architect Bernhard Bijvoet is best known for his modernist collaborations with his peer Jan Duiker. Together, they designed the highly influential Zonnestraal Sanatorium in the Netherlands.

Bernhard Bijvoet was a key collaborator in the design of the famous Maison de Verre in Paris. He worked alongside designer Pierre Chareau to complete this iconic masterpiece of early modern architecture.
