Mob Rules is the tenth studio album by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released in November 1981 on Vertigo and Warner Bros. Records. It is the band's second album with vocalist Ronnie James Dio, following Heaven and Hell (1980), and the first to feature drummer Vinny Appice, who replaced original member Bill Ward. The album was produced by Martin Birch and includes the title track, which also appeared in the animated anthology film Heavy Metal (1981).
It is regarded as a key release of the Dio era.
