Bligh Bank is a shallow sandbank in the Belgian sector of the North Sea. It is named after British naval officer William Bligh, who is associated with the 1789 Mutiny on the Bounty. The bank is also the location of the Belwind offshore wind farm, making it a maritime site where North Sea seabed conditions and renewable-energy infrastructure meet.
