Blood & Wine

description Blood & Wine Overview

Blood & Wine is a 1996 American neo-noir crime film directed by Bob Rafelson. Jack Nicholson plays Alex Gates, a financially troubled Miami wine merchant who organizes a plan to steal a valuable necklace with help from people close to him. The plot uses the planned theft to examine greed, betrayal, family conflict, and self-interest, and its Florida setting gives the film a humid, contemporary crime atmosphere rather than a conventional urban noir backdrop.
