Steve Burns departed the wildly popular Nickelodeon show in 2002, which sparked many rumors about his health and well-being. Actor Donovan Patton was cast as Steve's brother, Joe, taking over the hosting duties in 2002. Patton remained the host until the original series ended its run in 2006.
