description Bucktown (1975) Overview

Bucktown is a 1975 American action and crime film directed by Arthur Marks. Fred Williamson plays a man who becomes involved in a small town after discovering that corrupt police officers control and terrorize the community. Pam Grier also stars in the film. Its story uses the conflict between residents and abusive law enforcement as the basis for a blaxploitation-era action narrative involving retaliation, local power, and criminal corruption.
