Cabbage Beach

Cabbage Beach is located on the northern coast of Paradise Island in the Bahamas. It faces the Atlantic Ocean and is situated just a short distance from the capital city of Nassau. It is famous for its close proximity to the massive Atlantis Paradise Island resort.

Despite its location near the Atlantis Paradise Island resort, Cabbage Beach is entirely open to the public. The beach features public access points located near the Riu and Paradise Beach Club areas. However, amenities like chairs and umbrellas may require a rental fee from local vendors.

The water conditions at Cabbage Beach can vary; while it features a wide stretch of beautiful white sand, it is known to have somewhat rougher waves and occasional strong currents because it faces the Atlantic Ocean. Swimmers should be mindful of the conditions, especially on windy days. There are lifeguards present, but caution is always advised.

To reach Cabbage Beach, visitors must first cross the bridge connecting Nassau to Paradise Island. You can walk, take a taxi, or drive across the bridge from the capital city. Once on Paradise Island, it is a short walk to the public access points near the Atlantis resort.
