Chain

description Chain Overview

Chain is a 2004 docufiction film by American filmmaker Jem Cohen. It follows two women whose experiences unfold in and around global retail, commercial, and entertainment spaces. The film combines scripted narrative with documentary observation and essay-like reflection, making the boundary between fictional characters and real environments deliberately uncertain. Its subject is the way large commercial landscapes shape movement, work, memory, and social relationships.
