Chevrolet Tavera

The Chevrolet Tavera is a seven-passenger minivan. It was designed as a practical people carrier with a relatively rugged layout for markets where road conditions and utility mattered.

The Tavera used rear-wheel drive. That drivetrain was part of its practical, utility-focused design rather than the front-wheel-drive layout common in many modern compact MPVs.

The model was primarily associated with India and other parts of Asia, and it was also sold in selected South American markets. Its Chevrolet branding varied by market and production arrangement.

The Tavera was closely related to the Isuzu Panther platform. It was sold as a Chevrolet-branded utility MPV and became known for durability, passenger capacity, and simple practicality.
