Continuum

Continuum is a gritty, politically charged sci-fi series about a detective from a corporate-controlled future who is accidentally sent back to present-day Vancouver. She must hunt down a group of terrorists who also traveled back in time, all while trying to prevent the future she knows from coming to pass. The show is excellent at exploring the morality of both the 'terrorists' and the 'authorities,' refusing to paint either side as purely good or evil. It is a smart, thought-provoking show that blends action with complex political philosophy.
