description Coup Overview

Released in 2012 and designed by Rikki Tahta, Coup is a card-based social deduction game set in a dystopian future. Accommodating two to six players, the game challenges participants to bluff, manipulate, and deduce their opponents' hidden roles to survive. Each player is secretly dealt character cards with specific abilities, and the objective is to successfully eliminate the influence of all other players. It is designed for groups who enjoy fast-paced games relying on deception and strategy.
