description Dakota County Courthouse Overview
The Dakota County Courthouse is a historic government building in Hastings, Minnesota, constructed between 1869 and 1871. Designed by A. M. Radcliffe in the Italian Villa style, it has brick and stone walls, symmetrical facades, mansard-roofed corner towers, and a central dome added in 1912.
Dakota County moved its courts and offices elsewhere in 1974, and the restored building later became Hastings City Hall.
