description Dean Lomax Overview
Dean Lomax is a British palaeontologist, author, and science communicator whose research focuses particularly on ichthyosaurs, the marine reptiles sometimes called sea dragons. He is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Manchester and an 1851 Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, and he has also published on dinosaurs, plesiosaurs, ammonites, fossil plants, and other extinct animals. His work is aimed at both academic and general audiences.
