Delahaye was a historic French automobile and truck manufacturer that was active from 1894 to 1954. The company was originally founded by Emile Delahaye in Tours, France, before moving to Paris.

Today, Delahaye is highly renowned for its elegant pre-war racing and luxury touring cars. Their most iconic models were built in the 1930s, often featuring breathtaking custom coachwork designed by French artisans like Figoni et Falaschi.

Yes, Delahaye achieved significant success in motorsport, including an outright victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1938. Their Delahaye 135 sports racing cars were highly competitive against rivals like Bugatti and Alfa Romeo.

Following World War II, the French luxury car market struggled significantly, and Delahaye eventually merged with competitor Delage in 1953. The combined company ceased passenger car production entirely by 1954, shifting focus to commercial trucks.
