The Dengie Marshes are an extensive area of coastal grazing marsh, mudflats, and salt marsh on the Dengie Peninsula in Essex, England. Their habitats support internationally important populations of wintering and migratory waterbirds along the North Sea coast. The area is protected through overlapping conservation designations, including Site of Special Scientific Interest, Ramsar, and Special Protection Area status.
