Desmond Jones (1937-2024) was a British mime practitioner and teacher. In 1979 he established a mime school in Shepherd's Bush, London, later known as the Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre; it trained students from Britain and abroad for about 25 years before closing in 2004. His work is associated with the development and teaching of modern mime and physical theatre in the United Kingdom.
