Because they are made from a heavy-duty cotton canvas blend, these pants may experience slight shrinkage if washed in hot water and dried on high heat. To maintain the original fit and protect the bar tack stitching, it is generally recommended to wash them in cold water and tumble dry low.

The loop located on the side of the thigh is a functional tool loop intended to securely hold a framing hammer. This design element is a standard feature on traditional carpenter pants, allowing tradespeople to keep their tools accessible while climbing ladders or working.
