Who actually composed Dido and Aeneas?
The canonical Dido and Aeneas is a Baroque opera by Henry Purcell, with a libretto by Nahum Tate. Benjamin Britten helped revive Purcell's music in the 20th century, but he did not compose the original work.
Where is Dido and Aeneas set?
