Divine Design

Electric Universe is a German psychedelic trance project founded and led by producer Boris Blenn, who has been active in the Goa and psytrance scene since the mid-1990s. Blenn is also known for his ambient project Galaxy and has released music on prominent psytrance labels including Spirit Zone Recordings. Electric Universe's sound is characterized by melodic full-on psytrance with rich synth layering and driving basslines.

"Divine Design" was released in 2000, during the period when Electric Universe's output appeared primarily through Spirit Zone Recordings, one of the key German psychedelic trance labels of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Spirit Zone was instrumental in establishing the European psytrance scene alongside labels like TIP Records and Flying Rhino Records. Boris Blenn's releases on Spirit Zone helped define the melodic psytrance subgenre.

His work across these projects spans the full spectrum from dancefloor psytrance to meditative ambient compositions.
