What happens if everyone guesses the storyteller's card in Dixit?
The storyteller scores nothing if everyone identifies the correct card, and the other players receive points. The storyteller also scores nothing if nobody finds it, so the best clue is neither obvious nor impossible.
How many people can play Dixit?
The original edition was designed for three to six players, while the refreshed base game supports as many as eight. Dixit Odyssey includes formats for groups of up to 12.
Can you use Dixit expansion cards without the base game?
Ordinary expansions add illustrated cards but do not provide the scoring board, voting pieces, and rules components needed to play. The standalone edition of Dixit Odyssey is an exception because it includes full game hardware.
Who created Dixit and who illustrated the original cards?
French game designer Jean-Louis Roubira created Dixit, which was first published in 2008. Marie Cardouat illustrated the original game's 84 dreamlike cards.
