Doing Hard Time

description Doing Hard Time Overview

Doing Hard Time is a 2004 American crime drama directed and written by Preston A. Whitmore II. Boris Kodjoe plays Michael Mitchell, whose seven-year-old son is killed in the crossfire of a drug deal; when the two shooters receive only drug-possession convictions, Michael deliberately gets himself sent to their prison. He plans to take revenge from inside, but the prison contains its own rivalries, guards, and power structure.

The film combines a father's revenge plot with a prison action story. [Doing Hard Time](https://www.tvguide.com/movies/doing-hard-time/cast/2000134871/)
